Congratulations to the 5th Grade Class of Nah Tah Wahsh PSA and Hannahville Indian School! Today, those students officially graduated from the D.A.R.E program. D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches children from kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives. Thank you, Officer Taylor, for leading this important educational experience for these amazing students!!

Music and Prize Drawings on Friday!! Please join us on Friday at 9:00 am in the school gymnasium as Mr Hellberg, our K-12 Music Teacher, leads elementary students to sing those special holiday carols, and our band members play those familiar holiday tunes. Mr. Kovish, Elementary Potawatomi Language Teacher, will close our program leading our elementary students in singing Santa Claus is Comin to Town and Here Comes Santa Claus in Potawatomi Language, and Finally - prize drawings will happen at the end - but you must be present to win!! **Remember** It's early release at 11:30am for students on Friday to get an early start to the holiday break! School Staff will have professional development for the afternoon.

Santa Claus has made his way to Hannahville School! Our elementary classrooms had a special visitor this morning and our Jolly "Big Guy" in red will be back TONIGHT to enjoy Breakfast and Books! Weekly Sacred Fires are returning to NTW and HIS! Please join us on Friday, December 15th, as we celebrate with the community, the return of weekly sacred fires to our students, utilizing our newly built traditional sacred fire pavilion. A Traditional Feast will be served at 12:00 noon, in the school cafeteria. We look forward to seeing the community for the dedication and celebration of this great ceremonial space.
