Weekly Sacred Fires are returning to NTW and HIS! Please join us on Friday, December 15th, as we celebrate with the community, the return of weekly sacred fires to our students, utilizing our newly built traditional sacred fire pavilion. A Traditional Feast will be served at 12:00 noon, in the school cafeteria. We look forward to seeing the community for the dedication and celebration of this great ceremonial space.
The early elementary classrooms at NTW are planning dress-up days to gear up for the Christmas holiday. I see lots of favorite dress-up days coming this month!! Dress up days begin on Monday, December 11th!

Bittersweet moments happen - even at school. Margie Gregoire - who has led an amazing 38 year teaching career, 36 of those as a member of our faculty at NTW, officially retired on Thursday, November 30th. Congratulations Margie Gregoire, on a marvelous career in educating our students. The community and school will miss you, tremendously!! Wishing you all the best in your new adventures, wherever and whatever you choose to do - we know you will do GREAT things!!

Child Wellness Coordinator position has opened at Hannahville School! If you or somebody you know has a passion in assisting families of the community and would enjoy working in addressing the needs of children with risk factors such as trauma or disabilities, please considering applying for this Full-Time position. Deadline to apply at the HIC Human Resources Department is Tuesday, December 12th.
Festive News Coming to Nah Tah Wahsh PSA! Santa's Gift Mall is opening soon!! Tuesday and Wednesday, December 5th and 6th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the school library. Watch for student gift list envelopes to come home in the next few days. Please remember, this is a student-only event to encourage good will and good money budgeting while your student shops for loved-ones on their list.
Scholastic Fall Book Fair has arrived at Nah Tah Wahsh PSA!
Parents and Guardians, we are excited to announce the arrival of our annual book buying event! Beginning Monday, November 27 - Friday, December 1st, we welcome students to visit the book fair from 9:45am - 10:45am and 2:30pm-3:30pm. Book Fair hours our limited, due to classroom time and the availability of library use. We are fortunate to have Scholastic here for the week - giving your child a greater opportunity to visit. We're excited to celebrate our love of books together at the Book Fair. We look forward to seeing your child there!

Behavior Health Therapist position has opened. This position is year-round and primarily placed in the Hannahville Indian School Building as general outpatient mental health counseling, providing treatment to children, adolescents, and families, with special focus on early elementary. If you have a Masters degree in the appropriate areas of mental health and would like to be part of a great community of people. Reminder to our NTW and HIS parents and guardians - Thursday AND Friday this week are 11:30AM EARLY RELEASE DAYS for students. Parent/Guardian Conferences are being held on Thursday (tomorrow) 11/9 at 12:30PM. Please make a point to visit our school and your students' classroom teacher and find out about all the amazing progress your student is making since the beginning of the school year!

Reminder to our parents, guardians and community members - Hannahville Youth Services Department's Halloween Carnival is being held tonight! - Doors open at 4:30 p.m. ALL STUDENTS will ride the bus home at 3:15pm and come back for the festivities - There will be NO After School Kidzone programming tonight, HYS staff will be setting up for the carnival.
