Nah Tah Wahsh PSA

Nah Tah Wahsh PSA high school junior, Brittany Thunder, was nominated and chosen to attend the 2025 American Legion Auxiliary Michigan Girls State in Lansing, Michigan, where she spent a week learning about responsible citizenship, leadership, and the American political process through a hands-on, simulated government experience. During her time there, she was nominated and elected by her peers to serve as the Director of Public Safety within her mock city. In this role, Brittany gained a deeper understanding of community safety, leadership responsibility, and public service, while building confidence and teamwork skills in a collaborative civic environment. The experience overall helped her build confidence, teamwork skills, and a greater appreciation for active citizenship.
