Chippewa Beaded Moccasins
Chippewa Moccasins - McNeelyI selected Traditional Chippewa Beaded Moccasins. They look like they have been worn at many pow-wow dances. The moccasins have worn soles with patches and look very comfortable.

Vincent Bender of the Bad River Tribe of Chippewa's, made the moccasins. He made them about fifteen years ago for Kathy McNeely.

They are a six and one half women's size and are made from brain tanned deer hide. The brain is flattened and used to tan the deer hide to make it soft when making the moccasins. The tops of these moccasins have a beaded floral design that comes from the Three Fires Tribes.
