Hawk Feather Headdress

The hawk feathers on this headdress have been individually attached to a red felt cap. The feathers have been attached at the crown.

It is hard to tell the age of this item. The feathers appear to be old, however this is not a true indication of the age of the headdress. This type of headdress is still made today and is usually worn by male Native American dancers.
